THE CENTENNIAL STORY
In 2000, Centennial Tires was established at 26 North Front Street in Belize City, Belize. From the beginning, the business was a one-man operation, managed by Mr. Bernard Hudson, who specialized in selling high-quality used tires. As one of the few tire shops in the city, Mr. Hudson diligently served the people of Belize, employing basic hand tools in his work. This venture coincided with a hiatus from his accounting career.
Growing up, Mr. Hudson was accustomed to working with his hands and staying busy with various manual tasks, such as laboring in the cane fields where he was raised. This diligent work ethic has been a constant throughout Mr. Hudson’s life, a testament to his faith in God and commitment to his Christian walk. This core principle has evolved into a fundamental pillar upon which Centennial’s foundation rests.

Nowadays...
Over two decades later, Centennial Tires has evolved into a mid-sized, family-operated business with a team of eight employees. Throughout the years, we have relocated to 1 North Front Street in Belize City, improved our facilities, and broadened our range of services. Our current offerings include wheel alignments, oil changes, tire balancing, a mechanic shop, car wash, car detailing, and a general store.
The name Centennial has a rich and meaningful history that is deeply intertwined with the story of Centennial Tires which became Centennial Belize Limited. It was chosen not only for its timeless appeal but also for the powerful symbolism it represents.
The term “centennial” refers to a 100-year anniversary or celebration. When Mr. Bernard Hudson first conceptualized his business venture, he envisioned a company that would stand the test of time, flourishing and growing for generations to come. Inspired by this idea, he named the company Centennial – a testament to the enduring legacy he hoped to create.
The name Centennial perfectly encapsulates the company’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and service. It serves as a constant reminder of the vision to build a business that would thrive for a century and beyond, reflecting the same passion and dedication that Mr. Hudson has demonstrated since its inception.
Furthermore, the name Centennial is a symbol of the company’s ongoing pursuit of growth and expansion. With a steadfast focus on innovation and staying ahead of the curve, CBL aims to be a trailblazer in the automotive industry – just as the centennial celebration represents a significant milestone in time.
